Yeti Cycles SB5 XT/SLX 27.5
$4,699.00
The SB5 is perhaps the most versatile all-mountain 27.5" mountain bike that Yeti Cycles builds. Born on the trails of Colorado, this bike represents everything a trail bike should be — lightweight, nimble on climbs and dominant on descents. The XT/SLX variant is efficient on the climbs with the Classic Shimano XT 11X46 rear cassette and a 30T chainring. We love this bike and tons of our customers do too. Some of the standout features are the Switch Infinity Rear Suspension, which Yeti released to monstrous acclaim and it's no surprise why. The Switch Infinity offers amazing pedaling performance whether you're climbing your favorite Rock Garden or crushing it at the Wheeler Creek Trail outside Ogden. You'll also love how the bike handles big hits too, as it stiffens up as it get's deeper into its suspension curve. You'll also love the Light, Stiff and Ultra tough High Modulous Carbon Fiber Frame and swingarm that has been newly redesigned for a cleaner more refined look with internal cable routing. Yeti also upgraded their Rear Shock with the new SB5's shock that provides great adjustability, killer mid-stroke compression while also devouring small bumps and washboard.

Yeti Cycles SB4.5 29er Carbon Series
$4,799.99 - $5,199.99
The SB4.5 is not easily categorized until you ride it. It’s a bit of a chameleon – it’ll be whatever you want it to be. Our crew has raced it in seven-day epics, shredded it on high-alpine lines and it’s the go-to recommendation for someone who wants a versatile bike with big wheels. The SB4.5 rides bigger than the travel suggests. Switch infinity suspension makes our bikes efficient on the ups, but even more capable on the downs because you can utilize all the travel without ramping up and things getting weird. This allows us to spec longer travel forks up front. More travel, more fun.

Yeti Cycles SB5 Beti 27.5 Carbon Series
$4,799.99 - $5,199.99
When we designed the SB5 Beti, we made it to excel in the most demanding situations. Our team of female pros and product testers are aggressive riders and wanted a lightweight bike that could handle the rigors of long days in the backcountry or even lift served access. Different sized riders have different needs, so on the XS-SM we lowered the toptube creating even more standover for shorter riders. The MD-XL use our signature toptube configuration which has great clearance and classic lines. We steepened the seat tube to optimize pedaling position, while the head tube got a bit slacker to make it even more capable on the downhill. Last year, when we designed the SB5 with all-new geometry and design – we all thought it looked a lot like the old chum we knew and loved. The reality was, the new tube configuration, updated geometry and integrated cable routing made a refined bike even better. What is specific: custom tuned fox shock, shorter crank length, customized handlebar width. We took the proven sb5 and added a lighter shock tune, women’s specific WTB Diva saddle, smaller diameter grips, and narrower handlebars (though, in the spectrum of handlebar widths, they are still relatively wide at 740mm). We also changed crank lengths from 175mm to 170mm. The smaller cranks are easier to spin and give added clearance in technical sections.
Yeti Cycles SB5.5 29er Carbon Series
$4,799.99 - $5,399.99
Forget any preconceived notions about 29ers. Thanks to an impeccable frame design, shortened chain stays and aggressive suspension spec, the SB5.5 is easy to maneuver and feels lively and quick on the descents. The SB5.5's 17.2 inch chainstays aren't super-short by today's standards, but that's exactly the point. Our testers wanted some torsional flex so the bike handled off-camber descents better. We were able to achieve this by right sizing our chainstays and optimizing the carbon layup to allow rear wheel to track on gnarly terrain. To balance the bike’s front end, we chose to use a long travel 51mm offset fork combined with a 66.5 degree head angle. This allowed us to precisely tune the bike’s mechanical trail and wheelbase. For 2018, in collaboration with Fox, we refined the shock air volume configuration and tune. The float DPX2 for the SB5.5 has more consistent damping with a revised oil path. On the trail, you will feel more mid-stroke support and less overdamped feeling. Additionally, the new shock design allows for compression and rebound to be tuned more independently.
Yeti Cycles SB6 27.5 Carbon Series
$4,999.99 - $5,399.99
Piloted by the best riders in the world, the SB6 in uniquely suited for pounding out big enduro race days and taking on big terrain. The SB6 has 6 inches of travel in the rear, with 160 mm up-front and geometry that is manageable on the transfers, but optimized for smashing downhills. Lab tested to our most rigorous standards and proven here on the trail. The SB6 is tested under heightened frame requirements to withstand more abuse. What does this mean? Well it is tested to stiffness and impact levels of downhill bike standards. Along with the testing in the lab the sb6 has been ridden to victory on the toughest enduro race courses in the world. This thing is Richie Rude frigging approved.
Yeti Cycles SB5 LR 27.5 Turq Series
$5,199.99
We shut the factory down daily and suit up for our lunch ride. It’s not only a way to blow off steam and build camaraderie, but also serves as a proving ground for spec and product decisions. After testing and riding nearly everything, this is how we spec our personal bikes. It has 10mm more travel up front and a burlier shock in back. Built for speed. We love tinkering with our bikes and through the process of riding, we often land on a hybrid spec that we all run. For SB5 lunch ride the suspension has been upgraded to a Fox 36 / 160mm fork for added travel and Fox Float DPX2 shock for ripping descents. The tires and rotors have been beefed up to a Maxxis Minion 2.5” and Aggressor 2.3” front and rear, and larger 180mm rotors.
